Gavin’s reputation as one of Australia’s premier commercial photographers has been built around two central pillars.
The first is that whether he’s shooting advertising, editorial or commercial work he delivers superior images – be nails the brief.
The second is his excellent customer service – a level of service so many promise but so few live up to.
It’s this rare combination of outstanding talent and positive approach which keeps Gavin in such high demand with clients that are household names.

While he is a man who excels working with any subject, Gavin is particularly sought after for his portrait work, having photographed multinational CEOs, Olympians, actors, politicians and celebrities from every field.

Across his 20 year career Gavin has developed a very clear idea of how technology can help deliver excellent outcomes.
“Since my shooting involves a fair bit of travel, often to remote locations, I work with a small kit that gives me many options for lighting, is easy to carry, and complies with airline requirements.

“Central to that kit are my Nikon speedlights.  They are incredibly capable and I use them for all my work, from corporate portraits in a boardroom to giant road trains in the Outback.
